Support Greenwood Legacy at Tulsa City Council

  • Tulsa City Hall, Council Chambers 175 E. 2nd St., 2nd Floor Tulsa, OK 74103 (map)

Greenwood Legacy Corporation invites residents, community members, partners, and supporters to attend the Tulsa City Council meeting on Wednesday, May 13, 2026, at 5:00 p.m. to support keeping the full Improve Our Tulsa 3 funding dedicated to the Kirkpatrick Heights-Greenwood Master Plan.

The Kirkpatrick Heights-Greenwood Master Plan reflects years of community engagement, public meetings, resident input, and collaboration across North Tulsa. The plan represents a unified, community-driven vision for redevelopment in an area of deep historical and cultural significance.

The City Council will conduct the final public hearing and vote on whether to keep the $5 million earmarked for GLC as voters chose in 2023. Community support is needed now.

Support GLC by doing the following:

  1. Sign the petition asking Tulsa City Council to keep the Improve Our Tulsa 3 funding fully dedicated to the Kirkpatrick Heights-Greenwood Master Plan.

  2. Attend the May 13 City Council meeting to show support for Greenwood Legacy Corporation and the community-led implementation of the Master Plan.

This funding is essential to advancing the work residents helped shape and voters approved. Keeping the funding in place protects voter trust, preserves the integrity of the community-led process, and supports long-awaited progress for Kirkpatrick Heights and Greenwood.
